1. Translators/Adaptors

We are looking for translators/adaptors for all prevalent languages and language combinations on a freelance basis.

Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:

  • Native speaker
  • Degree as a translator, linguist, philologist or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in translations and adaptations
  • Quick, accurate working style
  • Relatively flexible working hours (during the day as well as evenings, possibly weekends)
  • Easy to reach (telephone, mobile phone, fax, email)
  • IT-equipped: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • General knowledge of a variety of topics
  • Possible specialisation in a particular area (i.e. technology, economics, medicine, pharmaceuticals, law)

2. Interpreters

We are looking for freelance interpreters for all prevalent languages and language combinations for both national and international assignments.

  • Consecutive or simultaneous
  • Various fields (i.e. technology, economics, medicine, pharmaceuticals)

3. Consultants/Account Executives

We are looking nationwide for consultants and account executives for our PR and translations & adaptations units.

Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:

  • Excellent communicative abilities
  • Business-oriented way of thinking and making decisions
  • Knowledge of the media, communications, or translation branch is highly advantageous
  • Above-average customer and service-oriented conduct
  • Organisational skills, flexibility

4. Interns

We are looking for interns for periods of at least 3 (preferably 6) months.

Your responsibilities as an intern:

  • Help to develop new concepts
  • Support project heads within the respective units
  • Handle incoming inquiries
  • Business correspondence and general office duties
  • Research

Requirements:

  • German Abitur (college entrance exam), or preferably a successfully completed intermediate university diploma
  • Already acquired initial experience in PR/journalism/translations
  • The ability to spot connections and think accordingly
  • Skilled with all MS Office programs
  • Motivation and enthusiasm
  • Sense of responsibility and a willingness to become involved
