Hinnerk Polenski
Hinnerk Polenski (Sobu Sensei) studied philosophy and Business Management and has lead Zen seminars for executives in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland since 1990. After spending over 10 years as an independent corporate consultant, he has fully dedicated his time to Zen training and coaching for executives since 1999.
Polenski has practiced the Zen Way for 25 years, is an ordained Zen monk, a pupil under Zen-master Oi Saidan Roshi and Reiko Mukai Osho, Zen teacher (Sensei) of Daishin Zen, and a member of the Order of Hokoji Rinzai as well as Syoko-ji in Japan. His traditional Zen training at the Japanese Rinzai school was supplemented by encounters with Shomani Roshi, Pater Enomiya-Lassalle, and Count Dürckheim.
Together with Reiko Mukai Osho, he founded the Daishin Zen Line, a Zen school with a focus on the development of a European Zen Way for executives.
