Hinnerk Polenski
Hinnerk Polenski (Sobu Sensei), who combined studies in philosophy
and economics, has been carrying out Zen seminars for managers in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 1990. After more than 10 years
as freelance corporate consultant, he now devotes his time to Zen
training and coaching for managers.
Polenski has been practicing the Zen Way for 25 years, is an ordained
monk, student of Zen Masters Oi Saidan Roshi and Reiko Mukai Osho,
Zen teacher (sensei) of Dai shin Zen and member of the Hokoji Rinzai
Order as well as the Syoko-ji in Japan. Encounters with Shomani Roshi,
Father Enomiya-Lassalle (Christian Zen) and Duke Dürckheim (Zen
and psychology) round out the traditional Zen training of the Japanese
Rinzai School.
Together with Reiko Mukai Osho, he has founded the Daishin Zen line,
a Zen school whose major focus is on developing a European Zen Way
for managers.
